Bengals put 4 on IR

The Bengals effectively ended the season of four today including backup wide receiver Patrick Johnson. The Bengals put just as many players on season-ending injured reserve Monday as they released in getting down to the NFL's maximum roster limit of 65.

Released were three veterans in cornerback Alvin Porter, tight end Chad Hayes, and running back Herbert Goodman, as well as rookie free-agent safety Wendell Williams.
