Rams QB Bulger says MRI "negative"

Rams quarterback Marc Bulger may play Friday against Washington. In spite of bruising his knee this week in an exhibition loss to Kansas City, Bulger said Wednesday that the precautionary MRI exam showed no problems. Bulger was reported as saying "I have a little trouble running right now, but unless I'm told otherwise I anticipate playing."

Bulger was injured in the first quarter of Monday's loss to the Chiefs. One of his passes was intercepted and returned for a touchdown, putting Kansas City ahead 24-0 late in the first half.
