Chargers Lose Caldwell - Add McCardell

The San Diego Chargers got some bad news yesterday, but they got some good news too.

The Chargers lost their emerging wideout Reche Caldwell for the year with a knee injury. However, coming on the heals of that devastating news was that the Chargers had reached agreement with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Keenan McCardell in exchange for draft picks.

San Diego also added free agent receiver Bobby Shaw, who may be available for action Sunday.
