Carter, Rattay Expected Back

SF49ers.com reports that Defensive End Andre Carter and Quarterback Tim Rattay are expected to practice this week, with availability for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

"He (Rattay) had an MRI this morning. It was dramatic improvement according to the doctor this afternoon. We'll see how he is Wednesday. We'll see how he can practice. We'll monitor this stuff on Wednesday. We expect him to practice," Erickson said. "We'll monitor how much he throws. I don't know if he can go all the time in practice we just have to monitor where it's at and see where it's at. That's what we were told today and he feels a lot better so we expect him to play against Seattle."
