Early Injuries - Week 12

Baltimore Ravens running back Jamal Lewis will miss Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with a sprained right ankle. The injury occurred last Sunday during Baltimore's 30-10 win over Dallas. Lewis left in the first quarter and did not return after gaining 5 yards on two carries.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Fiedler was put on injured reserve Tuesday with a herniated disc in his neck and will miss the rest of the season.

The latest offensive player added to an injury list that took Steeler's coach Bill Cowher more than five minutes to recite Tuesday: wide receiver Plaxico Burress. Burress will miss Sunday's home game against Washington.
