Eagles lay down for Rams

Resting their stars, the Philadelphia Eagles kept the woeful Rams' playoff hopes alive.

The Rams manhandled the Eagles' backups in a 20-7 win. Desperately needing a win to stay in the NFC playoff picture, the Rams played like it, especially running back Steven Jackson. His best pro performance Monday night keyed the victory over the Eagles, who just wanted to get out of town healthy.
