Final Countdown Preview - Some Early Player News

The Final Countdown will be active 90 minutes prior to the start of tomorrow's Jets - Steelers game. That's 3:00 PM Eastern, or Noon on the Left Coast, or 10:00 AM in Hawaii, or 7:00 AM Sunday in Australia. (Yes we do have members Down Under).

Meanwhile, in early player news:

• Jets QB Quincy Carter is Out of tomorrow's game. Brooks Bollinger will backup Chad Pennington.
• No surprise that Phi WR Terrell Owens has officially been listed as Out of the Eagles - Vikings game.
• Pit RB Jerome Bettis is the probable starter tomorrow although Deuce Staley will play as well. With Bettis starting and likely being used in goal line situations, he appears to be the better choice.
