In the "Ho-Hum" Category:

• As you probably know by now Jerome Bettis will replace the supposedly injured Corey Dillon who replaced the allegedly injured Edgerrin James

In the "Now I REALLY Don't Care" Category:

• Ricky Williams' attorney claims that the former Dolphins RB should not have to repay the $8.6 Million in bonus money he received prior to deciding not to play. After all, since when do signed contracts really mean anything! It would be interesting to see how serious Williams and his spokeshole took the contract if it were the Dolphins who had to pay the $8.6 Million.
  

In the "Good for You Guys" Category:

• Jerry Rice has indicated he wants to retire as a 49er. Don't expect that to be anytime soon.
• Speaking of retirement, don't expect Brett Favre to retire this year either. All signs indicate, barring any major family problems, that Favre will be back with the Pack in '05.
  

In the "What a Surprise" Category:

• Relations appear a little strained between Daunte Culpepper and his bud Randy Moss. Take for example Culpepper's recent quote to the AP: "He's my good friend, but you almost get to thinking that maybe enough is enough".
