• Titan's CB Samari Rolle was arrested yesterday after an altercation with his wife. Danisha Rolle was treated and released from a local hospital Monday with a cut over her left eye. The cut required three stitches.

In the "First it was Miami Vice, then Nash Bridges, Now Chicago Hope?" Category:

• The Chicago Bears have offered UCLA DL Coach Don Johnson their vacant DL position.

In the "If this is the Nation's Capitol Then There Must be Budget Problems" Category:

• Having lost Rod Gardner, it looks like the Redskins will have a difficult time signing any top tier WRs because of salary limitations.

In the "The Only Things Missing are Lucy, Fred, and Ethel" Category:

• A federal judge took only 2 days to uphold an arbitrator's ruling that Ricky Williams must repay the Miami Dolphins $8.6 Million.

In the "Maybe if You Had Used Some You Wouldn't Have This Problem" Category:

• Former Raiders TE Marcus Williams wants 3 defendants in the BALCO Steroids case to testify in his suit against former Raiders teammate and Line Backer Bill Romanowski. Williams claims that a punch by Romanowski ended his career prematurely. It's unclear what the intent of the BALCO 3's testimony would be.
  

In the "Well Marshall, Looks Like the Deputy's a-Takin Over" Category:

• The Rams announced the former starter Marshall Faulk will now be the backup to former backup and now starter Steven Jackson.

In the "Oops! I Said it Again" Category:

• Eagles WR Freddie Mitchell continues to suffer from diarrhea of the mouth. Mitchell is still trashing the Patriots by claiming that the Eagles would beat the Pats 8 out of 10 games. Too bad for Freddie that the Super Bowl just happened to be one of the other two.

In the "But What About Drew Carey?" Category:

• The two QB Drews (Bledsoe and Breese) are going in opposite directions. Bledsoe is going to be released by the Bills in favor of J.P. Losman while the Chargers are expected to name Brees their Franchise player.
