March Madness - NFL Style
Now that March has arrived there is a flurry of activity with NFL players doing their version of musical teams.
Rather than flood you with a bunch of signings (and make me type in a lot of names) the NFL has a couple of nice pages that pretty much summarize everything. Here are the links:

Meanwhile, word is out that Vikings owner Red McCombs nearly fired coach Mike Tice on two occasions last season. McCombs was apparently hoping that by firing Tice he would motivate WR Randy Moss. HEY RED, IF YOU WANT TO MOTIVATE MOSS, WHY NOT CONSIDER FIRING MOSS INSTEAD OF TICE. Think about it. If you had fired Moss you would have lost one player that you are not going to have next year anyway. Losing Tice would take the heart out of this team.
This situation is a classic example of a growing problem in professional sports. Millionair brats that are able to direct the fate of their coach rather than respecting them as they should. We've seen it in Basketball with Coby and the Lakers (to name one), well now here we are in football. A sad state of affairs when an owner stoops to such a low level that he will sacrifice a quality coach for the sake of one player.
