A Mixed Bag of Stuff

"Dude, like don't they make steroids for the brain?"
  • When asked about his relationship with the South Carolina MD accused of writing steroid prescription for three Carolina players, Panther's Punter Todd Saurebrun indicated he liked the doc "very much". 10 minutes later, Sauerbrun called reporters back and said "Dude, we got our communications confused. I don't know this guy".
"The Pros and Cons (or perhaps ex-cons) of it"
  • In light of the number of NFL players arrested recently, two more stories of note have surfaced. First, Colts WR Marvin Harrison is involved in a lawsuit accusing him along with two others of assaulting three autograph seekers while in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl. We'll reserve judgement on this one since there always seems to be someone out there trying to make a bunch of easy money. Second, A jury has been selected in the drunk driving case of Rams' DE Leonard Little. Some fantasy sources are urging caution when considering Little for an IDP league. We think the power of the NFL will make sure Little is available this season.
"Well, there's still the Pee Wee league"
  • QB Kurt Kittner has lost his starting job for the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe to the ever popular Gibran Hamden. This certainly doesn't bode well for Kittner's future in the NFL.
