Browns Ready to Ink Rookie Braylon Edwards
The Associated Press is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have come to terms with Braylon Edwards WR, the number 3 pick in the draft, to a five-year deal.
Set to ink the deal today, it is the culmination of an interesting negotiation between the Browns and Edwards' agent Lamont Smith. Smith and the Browns had exchanged as many as seven proposals while struggling to find common ground. The sides have been hung up on, among other things, the contract's length, maximum value and guaranteed money.

Doc Bitters Comment: It just took this long because someone had to explain basic math to him. (I understand though that they might start offering that at scUM next year.)
