Fantasy Football QB: Brett Favre

Looking for a "sleeper" in the 2005 Draft?

I know, how can you call Brett Favre a sleeper - he's headed to the hall of fame someday! The truth is, now that he is older he has started to slip badly in pre-season fantasy football player rankings.

We at StatLeader.com still belive Brett has got what it takes, and we have ranking in the top 10 QB's in almost every league we cover with our fantasy football stats.

While it was just a pre-season game, Brett looked good in Green Bay's win over San Diego. "I think it's the best start he's had since I've been here," said Packers' sixth-year coach Mike Sherman.

Favre guided Green Bay on an 80-yard scoring drive in the second quarter in which he completed 7 of 8 passes for 64 yards. He completed 9 of 10 passes for 91 yards and a touchdown on the night.

Favre has been training in the offseason for the first time with a strength and conditioning coach to keep his body in the game.
