No. 2 Pick Inks Dolphins Deal
The Miami Dolphins signed running back Ronnie Brown Monday, the second overall selection in the draft.
In his four year collegiate career at Auburn, Brown rushed for 2,707 yards and 28 touchdowns on 513 attempts, while also catching 58 passes for 668 yards and a pair of scores. He ended his career with a 5.3-yard average per rush attempt.
Brown will compete for playing time with 2002 NFL rushing champion, Ricky Williams, coming back from a one-year retirement.
Fantasy Football Impact: Even though Brown has missed two pre-season games, he has attended two off-season mini camps - so he does have some familiarity with the offense with one month to go before the regular season.
