LT Goes Crazy, Willie Falls To Earth
In my article Week 3: Random Thoughts I wrote about how a few early season surprises would work themselves out over the course of the season. Well three of the early season surprises started "correcting" themselves in Week 3.
LaDainian Tomlinson ran for 192 yards with three rushing touchdowns - and he threw for another as the San Diego Chargers rolled over the New York Giants. LT also got his first 6 receptions of the season after no catches in weeks 1 and 2.
Daunte Culpepper threw for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns (no interceptions) with a QB rating of 140.0 as the Vikings beat the Saints. Culpepper also rushed for 36 yards on 8 attempts.
Pittsburgh's RB Willie Parker was held to just 55 yards after back-to-back 100+ yard games. Coming out of next week's bye, the Steelers' will probably have Staley, Bettis, and Parker - which means another team with the "running back by committee" approach that drives fantasy football fanatics mad!
