Two QB's Hurt in Week 2
Falcon signal caller Michael Vick and Jaguar's QB Byron Leftwich were injured in Sunday's games.
Michael Vick had to be replaced twice during Atlanta's loss at Seattle because he felt his left leg cramping.
After the Falcons got the ball back with 2:39 left at their 27 needing a field goal to send the game to overtime, Vick was sacked on third down and came out,
He also had to come out during an earlier drive after scrambling for 32 yards and finding Brian Finneran for 11 more. He left with the ball at the Seattle 5-yard-line, holding his left leg.
Jacksonville's Byron Leftwich appeared to injure his left leg as he was bent over backward late in the team's loss at Indy, but returned with 1:44 remaining.
Leftwich was in obvious pain as he limped from play to play on the Jaguars final drive. He got Jacksonville to the Colts 22, but his final pass intended for Jimmy Smith in the end zone was broken up by Colts safety Bob Sanders.
He was taken for X-rays after the game.
"I don't want to say what it is right now, but it wasn't the knee," Leftwich said. "I'm happy the knee is OK."
We will keep you posted on each player's status as the week progresses!
