Week 5 Injuries

As we reported earlier, Saints RB Deuce McAllister suffered what's believed to be a season ending knee injury during Sunday's game against Green Bay. RB Antowain Smith is expected to move up to starter. RB Aaron Stecker will also see additional action.

Bears RB Thomas Jones left Sunday's game with an injured knee. The MRI shows a mild knee sprain. Jones' status for this week's game is uncertain at this time. Expect Cedrick Benson to start if Jones can't play.

Lions WR Roy Williams strained his left quadriceps in Detroit's victory over the Ravens. His status is uncertain.

Cowboys RB Julius Jones suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's game. X-rays taken were negative but his status for this week's game is uncertain. Expect rookie RB Tyson Thompson to start if Jones is unable to play.

Packers RB Najeh Davenport broke his right ankle late in the first half of the Packers game against New Orleans. GB is hoping Ahman Green will be able to return after their bye this week.

Jets #2 RB Derrick Blaylock is out for the season with a broken foot. Rookie RB Cedric Houston will likely move into the backup position.

Patriots RB Corey Dillon left Sunday's game early with a leg injury. His status is uncertain at this time.

Texans WR Andre Johnson who left Sunday's game against Tennessee with a calf injury. His status is also uncertain at this time. Expect WR Corey Bradford to start if Johnson is unable to play.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger suffered a knee injury late in last night's victory over the Bolts. His status is uncertain.
