NFL.com Fantasy Draft Week

NFL.com has declared the week of August 28 through September 4 as the official "NFL.com Fantasy Draft Week" and we agree with their logic for doing so.

By August 28th the third week of the pre-season has been completed. By waiting, you'll have had the advantage of seeing three pre-season games. Not only will you know who is playing well and who isn't, who is starting and who isn't, but you'll also know about those pesky injuries that that knock out the starter your buddy picked #1 two weeks earlier in his draft.

We strongly support waiting as close to the start of the season to hold your draft. In any event, the StatLeader draft package will soon be available. We'll give you customized cheat sheets based in the individual default scoring systems for not only NFL.com, but Yahoo! Fantasy Football, ESPN Performance and Traditional, FOX/MSN, CBSSportsline.com, Sporting News, and AOL leagues .
